The Old Courthouse is one of Cleveland’s most iconic and history-rich venues. Though it continues to operate as a working courthouse during the week, the atrium and mezzanine are available to host events seeking an upscale and timeless vibe.

From a photographic point of view, The Old Courthouse showcases Beaux-Arts style at its finest. Within the grand rotunda, you’ll find a sweeping grand staircase, beautiful artwork, and a 20-foot-tall stained glass window. If you love larger-than-life architecture, there is no finer place in Cleveland. Just outside the doors, you’ll also have access to stunning outdoor cityscapes, including a great view of Browns Stadium. The Old Courthouse seamlessly combines historic grounds and jaw-dropping architecture, making it a perfect setting for a Cleveland wedding.

Having worked there many times over the years, I can’t say enough good things about The Old Courthouse.

From a vendor’s standpoint, their staff is best described as a well-oiled machine. They are talented, well-spoken, and incredibly accommodating. The rotunda and mezzanine above provide endless options for dynamic photos. Marble throughout, symmetrical architecture, and the larger-than-life feeling you get upon entering make The Old Courthouse one of our favorite places to photograph couples.
