Gervasi Vineyards easily is one of our favorite places to work. After passing through the iron gates welcoming you to their grounds, you quickly forget you are still in Ohio.

From a photographic point-of-view, there is absolutely nothing missing. Their perfectly manicured grounds compliment the tuscan-inspired structures to create a 55-acre dream wedding venue. Anchored by a beautiful centrally-located lake, navigating Gervasi’s grounds is easily done on foot, so there is no need to hire extra transportation to cart your wedding party around for photos.

Having worked on their grounds many times over the years (and even spending some off-season downtime onsite) I can’t say enough good things about Gervasi.

From a vendor’s standpoint, their coordinators are insanely easy to work with, fun to be around, and wildly helpful. The grounds are structured in such a way that every square foot feels purposeful, and the seamless flow makes for easily-created timelines and ensures that the logistics of wedding day feel effortless.

And finally, from a visitors perspective, there are very few places that feel as welcoming as Gervasi. They have somehow packed everything you could want into easily traversable grounds. Each staff member is nicer than the last, and there is a continuity across the entire property that makes new experiences and views feel familiar.

Pro Tips

  • If wearing heels for wedding day, keep a pair of flats/sandals handy to traverse the grounds. If you are anti flats/sandals, always remember dirty feet are better than a sprained ankle.

  • Open air/outdoor weddings are susceptible to inclement weather. Be sure to pack an umbrella for you and the wedding party (bonus: Gervasi looks amazing in sun, rain, snow, and everything in between).

  • Stay the weekend. Waking up and having hair and makeup done in your room/villa keeps logistics simple for wedding day, and brunch the next day with your guests is a great way to wrap up your celebration.

  • Be sure to tour Gervasi’s grounds around the same time your wedding will be. Each season compliments the grounds differently.

  • Lean on your photographer when it comes to locations onsite for photos. There are obviously many well-known spots that will top your photo locations list, but there are many nooks and crannies that photograph equally as beautifully.

The Conservatory

Intimate and unique greenhouse accommodating up to 40 guests for ceremonies and small receptions

The Pavilion

Gervasi’s crown jewel. With a beautiful lake and lush vineyard on either side, The Pavilion serves double duty as a ceremony site and their signature reception site. The open-air nature gives tons of elbow room for up to 300 guests.

The Villa Grande

Gervasi’s tuscan-inspired indoor reception/ceremony venue. Equipped to accommodate 60-120 guests, the warm embrace of the ballroom is perfectly complimented by The Veranda (attached outdoor patio). The Villa Grande is also an amazing venue for bridal showers & rehearsal dinners.
