Chicago is probably best known for its deep dish pizza and scenic downtown area….. both of which we had to experience while we were in town 🙂 . As we rolled into Downtown Chicago we were very excited to soak up the beautiful textures and culture while working with Jared & LeAnna.

Our time with these two started off at sunrise in the middle of Millennium Park.  Having been to Chicago a few times, I must say seeing Millennium Park empty was a very surreal site. After making our way around the park we were able to make a quick stop at the Art Institute of Chicago to round out our session.

As if the morning wasn’t amazing enough, as we walked into the church where the ceremony was taking place an odd sense of familiarity rolled over us. I can’t say that I had been in this church before but I had seen it a million times. How so you ask?

Well LeAnna & Jared decided to get married at Grace Episcopal Church, which was used in the filming of Home Alone. With its beautiful interior and lush garden they couldn’t have chosen a more visually interesting place. Accented by a vintage Lincoln town car, and a vintage dress LeAnna’s grandmother wore at her wedding, the entire day had an amazing timeless feel to it.

We capped the night off with an intimate reception at Salvatores Ristorante.

Thanks again for making us a part of your big day and congrats on a beautiful wedding!
